dasuperstar 10-30-2009 07:35 PM

G 11-02-2009 04:04 PM

Did anyone go to this? How was the selection and prices? I wouldn't mind getting some freshjive/LRG/zoo york stuff.... any jeans?

Not really racist! 11-02-2009 05:20 PM

^ i was wondering too

is it worth going?

dasuperstar 11-02-2009 10:01 PM

Me too... anyone?

skyxx 11-03-2009 02:27 AM

Sweet, will check it out tomorrow...err today.

G 11-03-2009 11:47 AM

^Tell us how it goes! Things like selection / prices etc... I don't know if its worth it for me to transit 45 minutes to scienceworld and WALK all the way... so please do inform!

R-Acs 11-03-2009 01:22 PM

I went at the end of the day yesterday.. Price was around $50 for a pair of LRG jeans but there was already a lack in selection and sizes. There are however another dozen clothing and jewelry stores that you can check out in the same building.

Oh and the ATM in the building was busted so I had to run to Home Depot and buy a couple packs of gum to do the cash-back thing.

dasuperstar 11-03-2009 02:11 PM

How about winter jackets.... they do have it too?

rickross888 11-03-2009 09:32 PM

i went to the FX building last week they have quite a bit of stores there, but not all of them are open to the public.
i'm gonna check out the NLA sample sale tomorrow with my buddy so i'll let you guys know how it is.

G 11-03-2009 09:41 PM

^What other stores do they have? This place sounds really good for an area that is really sketchy lol....

rickross888 11-03-2009 09:52 PM

the buildings actually alright haha not as sketchy as it may seem. i felt the same way before heading there last week for the first time with my buddy.
the complex is basically a bunch of like agencies/stores that sell/distribute certain branded clothing to other retailers. they have stores that sell suits, jewelry, outerwear, jeans, shoes, a combination of all this stuff, etc. you're not allowed in every store there though just some.

G 11-03-2009 10:25 PM

the "your not allowed in every store" makes it seem sketchier hahaha... whats the building called?

Spaceship_coupe 11-03-2009 10:43 PM

Address is 1951 Glen Dr and the building complex is called Fasion Exchange Vancouver.

Here is the website: http://www.fxfashionexchange.com/index.html

Some stores do not allow "walk ups" as they are pure distribution and do not sell or wholesale to the public. The ones that do sell will have a green sign (forget what it says) by their door if I remember correctly.

rickross888 11-04-2009 04:54 PM

^green sign says "Sample sale" and red ones are along the lines of "No sample sale". some don't hang any signs you can just walk in and ask them.

NLA sample sale itself wasn't that great...didn't have too much stuff that i liked. they had t-shirts, jeans, bags, hats, toques, outerwear, shoes, belts, wallets. that's all i can remember
the other stores that were open were pretty good though. they have brands like D&G, Penguin, Ben Sherman, some TRs at this one store. i ended up getting a couple items.

mako 11-04-2009 05:27 PM

nothing overly impressive that i cant get elsewhere

i went 2 years ago and bought a pair of socks

dasuperstar 11-04-2009 08:37 PM

So that means they are like STD kinda thing.... Sold to discount where we could find in The bay and ETC?
