I remember that the scooter rider actually could dust off and talk to the officers about what happened.

Holy shit...are these people idiots or blind? The red light is solid..which probably means you should slam on the brakes and stop..It's sad how I'm sure theirs a lot of lives that were lost in this video

A few of the cars had pretty good car control, either by luck or the driver knew what they were doing, like the bus driver...damn..what a pro LOL

i'm still in awe at that one footage that had the identical white ford explorers crash into each other... what are the odds of that?

Not sure if this would have anything to do with it or would help many of these scenarios, but many traffic lights in the vids don't have the reflective yellow backing plate surrounding the light, which imo can make the difference in some cases between seeing the light and not seeing it.

I'm sure at least some of these were caused by people simply not seeing that it was solid red, including one I was a witness to once. I admit I've done that a couple of times in the past before.

With that said, the ones where the people don't even hit the brakes at all.. just wow. I remember reading somewhere (very recently) that in Eastern Europe people actually place bets on drivers who then intentionally blow through reds, as an underground hobby.

He was probably thinking of going to the Timmies himself for some yummy treats. Anyways, if he got hit, he could probably replace his car the next day.
