Ordered from Getsquash.com, but....

I ordered mine and they sent me the invoice dated oct. 23.
On the same day, paypal sent me the tracking number for USPS as well.
The shipping address is Point Roberts WA.

It's been over a week now and I still did not receive anything.
Called the USPS with the tracking number that I have, and USPS says that the sender did not mail anything yet. It only says Electronic Shipping Information Received which is dated Oct. 23rd and hasn't seen any updates ever since.

I emailed the getsquash.com to see what's up, a couple hours ago, and still waiting for them to reply me back.

Just curious if anyone ordered products from getsquash.com recently?
I found out this site from another thread on this forum about where to get a squash scented air freshener, and from reading others replies, they seem to be a legit company. Apparently, many people seem to have ordered from them, no problem.

I just wanna know if I am the only person. I don't really like being screwed over like this, as none of you don't, either.

sexyaccord 11-02-2009 04:47 PM

means, they electronically started the shipping details, and hasn't mailed it yet.
like how you can get a the tracking number from the canadapost shipping form. but didn't actually fill it out, nor mailed it out yet

illicitstylz 11-02-2009 05:34 PM

i ordered from getsquash.com on two separate occasions for the carall water glare.

no hassles/problems, also shipped to the states (Blaine though)

Just give it some time, be patient a little bit.

!Yaminashi 11-02-2009 05:36 PM

Be patient, when I ordered my new bezel/trackball/battery cover I was sent pretty much everything in advance but it didnt actually ship till a little later on

Truenosan 11-02-2009 05:48 PM

Just out of curiosity, those things are widely available locally, why go through all the trouble of ordering it in from the states?

only $10usd in the states plus you can fill up on cheap gas at the same time.
also bring whatever across the border and just declare the air fresheners?

Same boat as you.

Oct 16 - Ebay - Placed Order
Oct 16 - Paypal - Recipt
Oct 19 - Email - Product has been shipped, tracking info will be sent via Service@PayPal.com
Oct 21 - Email - I told them I did not receive an email with tracking info from Service@PayPal.com
Oct 21 - Email - They said tracking info not available for international shipping (shipping to Vancouver). Product shipped via USPS International First Class Mail(6-10business day).
Oct 21 - Email - I thanked them for quick reply.
Nov 1 - Email - Me asking if they know where my package is. Since it was sent out on the 19th, 6-10 day shipping time, and it is now 14 days later.

No response from them so far..I guess if all else fails, I paid with paypal and I can hopefully get my money back.

Don't know about other guys, but for me, two reasons.

First, it was cheaper to buy from them.

I am getting 6 for $50 usd which came out to be something like $52 cad.

A single carall stuff cost around 17 canadian after taxes at a local ricer shops, so I am saving some money and I also have my friend who needs to pick up some clothings there as well. So 2 trips in 1.

Second reason is that, I actually did pay visits to pretty much all local ricer shops before purchasing from them, only to find half of them don't carry this product at all, or sold out. Was quite pissed from that too cuz I spent almost half a day venturing around Richmond, Vancouver, Burnaby, and Coquitlam just for a stupid air freshener, but whatever.

It's only been 7 business days, chill out. It can take up to 2 weeks just sitting there at Canadian customs.

It's not cheaper if you never get the product.

Update Nov.2

Got email from them, they asked me for the tracking number, so I emailed them back with the number.

And I am waiting for their reply now.

Spaceship_coupe 11-03-2009 06:26 PM

What do you expect with free shipping? I've ordered from them numerous times and they take FOREVER.

Minata 11-03-2009 10:29 PM

Just know that it's not their fault. Once they ship it, there is nothing they can do to make it go slower or faster. It's all up to the fat overpaid fucks at Canadian Customs to deal with it.

illicitstylz 11-03-2009 11:02 PM

just curious, is it a feasible reason to go across the border and back just for gas fill up? or will it raise suspicions from the customs, keep in mind i'll only be in the states for less than 15 minutes

TOS'd 11-03-2009 11:10 PM

well, i think most ppl go down there and grocery shop too so its not like they JUSt went down there for cheaper gas.

I do understand that, but what I can't understand is, it takes them forever to email me back, too. -_-

So, here's a little update. I finally received the my order, total days: 17 days (shipped 20th). Not mad/disappointed on how long it took, more so because..

Today at 11:10am I was just about to head out to school, I heard a LOUD bang on my door. Sounded like someone threw a baseball sized rock at my wooden door. I rushed to the window and saw a postal worker walk to the next house. I could tell she didn't even open the gate or anything. She just threw the damn thing straight at my door. WTF. I like the use of the FRAGILE stamp right next to my address. Oh well, it's expected of them to not give a crap about anything.

I just hope they don't throw my next package at my door. It is an electronic device, very fragile, and in a large cardboard box.

syee 11-09-2009 01:17 PM

Which one did you get? So many different kinds of the GLARE ones...I'm assuming the fragrance is the only difference? Need to get myself some air freshner since the last one I used smells like "piss pucks"... :D

illicitstylz 11-09-2009 02:04 PM

water glare is the one and only.

" Carall GLARE Water Squash Scented Air Freshener "
