Does anyone actually click them? Like, how many of you are actually interested in an ad enough to click on it?
I can't say that I have ever intentionally clicked on an ad because I was interested...

I know plenty of people that use Gatsby products and love them.

I only click an ad if it's a local sponsor and it is something I am interested (but rarely). All the google shit ads I never click unless it's by accident.

have you tried the ads that show up in the NWS section? i admit to clicking on one there and... well, going thru the power tools section at home depot will never be the same for me again after that :lol

I click on google ads occasionally, but not that often on RS; maybe it's harder for google to present accurate, relavent ads on a forum vs when you're searching for something.

nope dont really mind ads on Revscene, but fucking ads on youtube is really annoying

havent clicked on the nws ads. though it has made me wonder what sort of attachment for the recipricating saws are ppl freakin buying?!

none are ever revelant to my interests, most are junk. I did click on one that claimed free samples of Molson Canadian on FB thinking it was actually from Molson but it was junk too.

most of google ads are out of our control.

basically they scan what the title or what keywords are in the thread, and based on that, they produce the appropriate ad associated to it.

^ I recall reading an article someone posted on here about a certain airlines crash stats or something, and the google ads were about booking flights with that airlines :lol

i fell to it just recently and bought some bullshit off the internet for 14 usd Gay i totally suckerd in, never again (it was also my first time i tried i was also interested)

well, does just clicking on these ads (just to look/use but not to buy) generate revenue for RS that will keep it free for all of us? if so, then it only takes a few seconds of your time to contribute...
