Discussion on how to keep your car shining bright and make them heads turn..
Its been a while since I've posted anything as its been a very busy year so far. I've got a few cars to get caught up on so lets get started. This job was a referral after I did a job for a client on a local forum. As scheduling conflicts prevented me from going back a second day, Terence was once again recruited for the day. When we got to the clients, we found the car to be very dirty and in need of a very thorough cleaning.
Engine / Jambs - Cleaned with AG Powermax3 and RG brushes
Washed with Blackfire Shampoo
Tires / Wheels - AG Custom Wheel Cleaner and Bilberry. Wheels needed spot cleaning with an acid based product as the brake dust buildup in areas was severe.
Clayed with samples of Gloss it Green ( mild ) and Lavender ( aggressive ) clay. AutoMagic BodyShine #49 was used for lube.
Polished with Flex3403/GI pads (Ken) and Makita/LC pads ( Terence) and Menz PF and 85RD
LSP was DG501/601/105
Wheels sealed with DG105 and tires dressed with GI Signature Tire Gloss
Interior was scrubbed down with AG Interior Shampoo and AG Hi Tech Cleaning Pad.
Leather was cleaned and conditioned with Lexol
Glass was cleaned with AG Fast Glass and WW Glass Towels
One dirty CLS 550
WTF?!
Accumulations were in all the jambs.
Car had a good smattering of fallout as well
Terence and I tried the Gloss it clays. They reacted with the AM Bodyshine for some reason and Terence turned into the Hulk while I turned into, well, Barney.
Lots of swirls were found although they were hard to capture on film.
Having my way with the Benz Ceramiclear
As was Terence
Nasty bumper scuff
Just add Flex and some PF....
Interior was also quite dirty
Tips after using P21S
And another 15 minutes of polishing with Autosol and some special finishing polish
Looking better
SWEET! Wheels were sealed with 105 as well
Nice reflection - especially on white.
All done. Enjoy.
All sills and jambs were sealed as well
Interior looked awesome when it was finished
Swirled tail lights
Same after polishing
Theres that damn cat again! That thing is freakin' me out!
if i owned a car like that, and knew that ken would make it mint every couple months, id do it too haha.

The level of detail you bring onto your client's car is jaw-dropping. Did you use compressed air for the hard to reach spots in the interior? How long was the entire job?

No compressed air, just brushes and some cleaner.Whole car took around 18 man hours.
