The first update for BioWare's fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins, tweaking the difficulty and fixing several bugs including a case of potential character corruption.
Patch details:
* Fixed potential corruption of character statistics
* Fixed portrait appearance sliders when importing a character from the downloadable Character Creator
* Fixed import for preset face settings from the downloadable Character Creator
* Made Easy difficulty easier
* Slightly increased attack, defense, and damage scores for all party members at Normal difficulty
* Fixed video issues when running on a very wide screen display, including ATI Eyefinity displays
I started playing this 2 days ago. So addicting! Someone help me with the Alatar and fountain water part.. Its pissing me off, haha.
I completely skipped that part and went straight to the Wolves.
I ended up siding with the wolves after talking to the lady of the forest. Besides, werewolves + Witherfang > Elves during a battle Sucks cause I couldn't turn in some quests since we ended up killing the quest givers hahaha
I'm @ Denerim now and I just met up with the Arl Eamon to do that meeting.
I started playing this 2 days ago. So addicting! Someone help me with the Alatar and fountain water part.. Its pissing me off, haha.
lol i had to google this.
1. take cup, fill it with water from the well
2. put cup on altar
3. pray on altar
4. take a sip from cup
5. pour the rest of the water back into the well
So how did everyone's meeting with Loghain go? Use spoiler tags, and don't go past that event please:

For me, I was able to get the nobles on my side, including letting the Elf slave traders go (which I didn't even have to do as it turns out). I won a duel against him, and was going to kill him but turned him into a Grey Warden instead. Alastair got pissed, and ditched me and I haven't seen him since So now I have loghain instead of Alastair, which kinda sucks because I built Alastair to my liking

I tried to make Loghain out as a mad man, I had the queen make an appearance and Loghain tried to make like I was controlling her. Most of the nobles went with loghain, the whole room broke out in battle. Some women (I dunno who she is tbh) yelled out stop, and said Alastair and Loghain must duel. I chose my self to fight for Alastair (I won) and the other warden tried to make Loghain a warden. Alastair refused to take the crown unless I stopped Loghain from being a warden, so I chose Alastair and allowed him to execute Loghain. I tried to force Alastair in to keeping his promise and marrying the queen, however he refused and forced her to give up her royalty, however I was able to spare the Queens life.
Weird, suddenly the game was 98% complete, and then it was over.
I guess expecting an 80 hour game is a bit much
like most RPG's, depends on how you go about it, directly through the story line or doing side stuff as well

k i've been playing for a while now.. just wanted to ask is it just me or is the combat system fucked up. I'm so choked whenever i'm in a fight my party just stood there waiting to get their ass nailed and do nothing. Espeically allistor. don't they do any auto attack? I mean as soon as i command them to kill off a dude and when he died, he just stood there and i'll have to click him again and refire another command.
Did you not set up each members tactics, and keep it updated as they level up?
BTW I am enjoying my 2nd playthrough even more as a bad ass Reaver. I got to fuck Morrigan on the first night camping, now I'm going for Leliana. Then I'll fuck all 6 whores at the Pearl. Who else can you fuck in the game, besides Zevran?
