How do I block my IP so Telus doesn't know what i'm downloading?

I always leave encryption disabled. It's supposed to bypass QoS if left enabled.

The server i use it irc.arcti.ca
and the channel that I get 0day music from is #hiphopworld, they also have a chat channel #hhw-chat, the key to the chan is "newkey"

I'm hotjoint on there so message me if you have any questions. I have ftp access but sometimes stuff doesnt get on there right away so I use the bots in that chan to get anything that I'm missing

shaw supposedly has limits of how much you can d/l per month. they got mad at me once for downloading too much because they did a random check, but it was 3 days before I moved so I didn't care. now you can check how much you've downed/upped every month online, but we do a solid 3 to 4 times our "limit" per month since they put that in and they've never said anything

This is just some scare tactic to try to get you to limit your bandwidth usage, I got one a year or two ago and I laughed and deleted it.

i've gotten like 4 of those in the past 5 years, even with encryption enabled. i only seed on private sites now, but it doesn't bother me. if they cut my service ima switch my internet and phone to shaw.
