I'm not going to lie. I get pretty happy when a world series winner is announced because it means no more baseball talk until Spring.

I really REALLY don't understand the love for baseball. If you add up all the actual action in a game, you'd get what - 5 minutes?
Football, I can understand, but not baseball.

I watched every game of this World Series. For some reason, I was really into it this year. I enjoyed the pitching aspect of this series because it was all a mind game. Cliff Lee pretty much shut down the Yankees when he pitched and it all culminated for Andy Pettitte to finish off the series. Matsui didn't play well throughout the playoffs but came up huge in the World Series.
And Mariano Rivera is AUTOMATIC. He is one intimidating pitcher...

The series was pretty fun to watch. Would have loved to see the Yankees play the Dodgers in the final but maybe next season.
