Stop talking about mumbo jumbo. What brand umbrella do you recommend, i've had those cheap $10 night market type ones before and they fail. And they flip with the slightest breeze. I'm looking for a compact one when retracted, large golf sized one, double layered (so wind can blow through it without trying to flip it). queeeeeeeeeeee

+1
i need 2 umbrellas... one for car, one for school
where abouts might i be able to purchase a quality umbrella?

RacePace 11-05-2009 03:26 PM

I got a compact one from the Bay by a brand called Wenger. Over $40 but you get what you pay for. I can't stand shit umbrellas

BorLorBao 11-05-2009 03:26 PM

Those small retractable umbrellas will always flip over when it is too windy?

Spectre_Cdn 11-05-2009 03:46 PM

If you're buying the retractable umbrellas, get the ones with springs on the arms; this prevents the arms from snapping in the wind. The umbrella will invert in strong wind, but you can just flip it back with nothing broken. These usually have a 'windproof' tag on them and are about 11 inches long (not the super mini 3-section type). I usually buy mine from Winners because they're only about $15 max there. The colour choice varies though.

NorthFace....you'll look like the typical CBC skinny gangster. Throw in some tear-away pants, Nike Shox...BAM, you's a G son! lol Oh, don't forget the skinny gold chain :)

If you want a golf umbrella....it's obvious you should visit GOLFTOWN :)

If you want more accurate weather prediction, go get yourself a barometer and read pressure changes.
