Car magazines around the world are not rating high on this car, sure it gets a lot of
attention after Clarkson ripped it inside the mall, but in real, it cannot compete with its
competitors like Mazda 2, Fit, Golf 1.4TSI, Alfa Mio and other sub compact cars in terms
of quality, value, performance, and fuel efficiency.

Good luck on the sales.

but then again, none of the above are available in north america, so maybe it will do well?

Any mention of suspension tuning differences between the Euro and our model, or will they be identical in that regard?

Mazda2 will be sold in Canada~ I saw one in Richmond outside the Mazda office (on Ackroyd, besides Chapters). Just drive up to the roof top parking lot, and you will see it~

I think the $1300 destination fee is the going rate (stealership's profit) for most cars nowadays. It's weird how the PDI/Transporation cost on a Canadian made Corolla is the same as a Germany-imported Golf though..

I'd love to test drive this side by side with a VW Polo that will be coming soon..

i was looking around for the best price to buy my mkv gti, clarkdale charged me $3xx while west minister vw didnt charge me at all. Also to whoever is interested in buying a vw, go west minister vw for Leo...he's a great guy

ford dealerships do not get any of the destination & delivery money as profit and it isn't negotiable. nor is the hold-back.

doc/admin fee is the only negotiable fee, and even that is there in order to cover costs that otherwise come out of regular markup.

the mazda2 w/ mps bodykit looks awesome. i wonder how much more the mazda2 will be over the focus, considering it's essentially the same car.

I know I'm picking bones but I'm sort of dissapointed at the Fiesta having no projector headlamps much like the euro counterpart. I did a quick build on how much It'll cost me for the new fiest from Ford.ca website. The US seems to get more selection in a sense of wheel packages etc etc.

the fiesta is really nice. it was at the autoshow last year.
but i can't help to think, ford really has to deliver, since they are late into this segment.
the mazda2 is prettier imo. especially the one up top.
