Just saw that a few minutes ago, it was HUGE!
Good thing I wasn't headed that direction, my front lip/bumper would've torn off.

damnm, i need to turn right there. Gotta be careful. Thanks for the heads up

Was driving home and came across some puddles! arghh...

1. Going southbound on Willingdon (after the McDonalds, but before Canada Way). The puddle spans across both lanes going straight (not sure if the turning lanes are affected).

2. Going southbound on Willingdon at Moscrop. The puddle is in the right turning lane, deep enough that it's as high as the curb.

It's supposed to be raining all week I think, so let's start listing so that we can avoid them.

^^^ Same here.

Just got home (PoCo) from Brentwood via Hwy 1. It was absolutely pissing!!!

-Hwy 1 Eastbound between Gaglardi and Brunette, centre and right lanes were ponds

-Hwy 1 Eastbound, Burnaby Lake stretch, HOV lane flooded on the left side

-Lougheed Westbound between Pitt River Rd. and Colony Farms (basically anything in front of Riverview), right lane always floods.

-Lougheed and Schoolhouse

-Lougheed and King Edward

The ones on the freeway/Lougheed are pretty bad cause if it's pissing and you get splashed by the car beside you, you lose all visibility for a second. So many idiots slamming on their brakes or swerving when this happens.

Notice the people are still standing there, looking at the car bowling towards the puddle?

Not saying the guy's not a dick but c'mon, what do they think is going to happen?

they think the car will dive into the puddle like James Bond's Lotus.

saiko 11-10-2009 02:13 AM

Is it a problem with the city's drainage system? Or it's just a shitload at once that wasn't really expected?
