DOHC + SOHC ZC ?

Hey,

I've got a blown DOHC ZC engine. A piston into the block, but the top end is alright. I bought a SOHC ZC to replace it. Can I put the DOHC top end on the SOHC bottom end? Would I want to use the pistons from the SOHC or the DOHC? How would wiring work?

Thanks.

IMHO dont even bother. I would either swap in the sohc zc, or buy a b18b there cheap and a lot better motor than the zc.

It is possible.
Long story short, you have to re drill and tap both the head and block such that you can use 12mm head bolts instead of the stock 11mm and 10mm bolts.

There's a guy in NZ who's been running that setup turbo'd to 14psi for a while successfully.
