WSOP Nov 9

Anyone know a site that is streaming or is hosting the main event ? i can't find it on tv or online anywhere. TIA

fliptuner 11-07-2009 11:46 PM

Yes, please.

I don't want to watch it 3 weeks after I read the results online but it sure will seem weird without commentary.

bigassbooger 11-07-2009 11:55 PM

youtube epic poker. they usually upload it by wed though.

91LS-VTak 11-07-2009 11:57 PM

TSN is showing it on Tuesday. You can follow the results at WSOP.com, but as far as I know there is no place to watch it live (except in Vegas)

I don't think they were streaming the final table live this year. You have to wait until Tuesday.

-8d, 9d
-made straight
-2 pair
-flush draw
-set

All ahead or even with his kings.

I watched that episode. Booth had just sat down with 1million when eveyone else had no more than 300k behind them. Ivey wanted to gamble but figured he was either behind and Booth was protecting or Booth had a ton of outs with 2 to go. He could've gone either way but maybe wasn't feeling it. I'm sure after the hand he knew Booth was in a gambling mood and was planning to take advantage in a better spot.

Oh well...

Spoiler!

bigassbooger 11-09-2009 11:14 AM

he didnt take millions in props bet he would of won milions if he won though

InvisibleSoul 11-09-2009 02:32 PM

Hmm... he was giving like at least 4:1 odds... so he still could have lost over a million in prop bets.

i agree with don taylor. Nothing physical. Sports = physical period.

bigassbooger 11-09-2009 09:47 PM

sitting at a poker for 14 hours straight is physical and mentally exhausting.

There are other "sports" that aren't really physically demanding.
curling
nascar/f1 etc..

bayee 11-10-2009 02:12 AM

Poker is not a sport :D

A real sport is where a person can get injured, papercut from cards do not count.

f1 is physically demanding and is a sport where there is a danger of injury/death. Anyone who disagree's with this is an idiot.

these guys have to be extremely fit and deal with extreme amounts of g's. These guys hit the gym hard believe me.
