Edit. Spelling Fail on the title. Ranger Rover. LOL. -> Range Rover, and descends*

not true at all

GabAlmighty 11-11-2009 08:41 PM

Ranger Rovers dominate off road. Unfortunately they're also very luxurious and expensive so not many people take em off road.

Kinda weird that the wheels slipped/skidded on the way down but i didn't see any wheel slipping on the way up

I'd say they're equally inclined in both fields (no pun intended) ;)

AVS_Racing 11-11-2009 09:05 PM

well there is the defender but thats kinda too hardcore for daily driving and very gas guzzling

asian_speedster 11-11-2009 09:10 PM

Thats awesome. Luxury + off road = win

Mugen EvOlutioN 11-11-2009 09:22 PM

holly shit tats one hell of a steep hill

orange7 11-11-2009 09:29 PM

are those stock tires?

Volvo-brickster 11-11-2009 09:45 PM

well i guess there is a plus side to having a 3+ tonne truck...it's what will keep it planted to the hill

When climbing a hill I'm not so sure I agree, sorta like when you're going uphill it's more likely to spin your tires than going downhill or flat surface
although at such extreme circumstances I wouldn't know

threezero 11-11-2009 09:54 PM

i pull off something similiar in my old freelander before. granted its no range rover and the hill wasn't as steep but it was pretty close, i did a 4 point turn on the near 70 degree hill. So satisfying, if i was driving any other cars i've own or own now i would need to be tow out.

yvrnycracer 11-11-2009 10:34 PM

WOW... amazing!

tonyvu 11-11-2009 10:38 PM

that's impressive

Klutch 11-11-2009 10:54 PM

whoaa...thats crazzy

greendb7 11-11-2009 10:55 PM

imagine sitting inside that with the guy, looking straight down to the ground coming back down the hill

Adrenaline Rush 11-11-2009 11:02 PM

Very impressive. Going down, it looks like the rear tires are almost off ground.

DeSole 11-11-2009 11:05 PM

Whoa thats pretty intense

Black SC2 11-11-2009 11:28 PM

That's bloody intense for what looks to be a stock vehicle.

PiuYi 11-11-2009 11:49 PM

must've been some pretty DAMN good tires
and the hill surface was probably perfect for maximum friction
wonder if theres a little bit of camera tilt to exaggerate the awesomeness of it tho
