Cats aren't as bad as people think, but they will never be as loyal as dogs.
My wife put it best, I think, after we got our dog: "Cats are great, I love my cats... but cats are boring."

My dog goes insane like that when we go away for a week on vacation. Apparently he acts all depressed when we're gone or at least that's what my buddy tells me when he house sits. I think he has separation issues because when I'm home he never leaves my side and by my side I mean he lays right next to me and follows me wherever I go. If I shower he's sitting outside the door waiting for me to get out, if I go into the basement to play Xbox he follows, if I mow the lawn he comes outside and watches me from the patio furniture.

Does your mom feed the rabbit? that will explain everything.
My fish goes crazy too when I walk near the tank...

My dog also does the same thing everyday not only when i come back from work, but also when I leave for work in the morning....that's because I always give him a milk bone just before I leave, so I think he is usually happy to see me to go in the morning.
