Long story short, he had a fender bender with a white van. Causing the Pedestrain Saftey system to go off. Cost to fix? $11,000 pounds.

Does anyone know what the purpose of the Pedestrian Safety system is?

All it seems to do is give your hood the JDM tilt lol!

hood thing is on a lot of euro cars cause they have to pass a pedestrian safety thingy... some cars just have a higher hood to over compensate for looks (the bmw "Z")

north america doesn't have that law.... yet... so continue buying your GTRs

Say that to pedestrians who are crossing the street legally who get hit by drivers doing illegal turns/running signs.

I've seen A SHITLOAD more bad drivers than bad pedestrians in my lifetime.
