No, they arent dead.

!SG 11-15-2009 07:06 AM

haha, i didnt notice what i typed til now.

55% of the weight is towards the front, 45% is towards the rear. my wheel base is pretty freakin long, i read somewhere they based the GS somewhere between the E class and S class when they were developing it.

leave them in there for the entire snow season, see if they're dead or not.

jack_dangerous 11-15-2009 09:40 AM

put those giant water bottles from the water coolers in the back

ilvtofu 11-15-2009 09:48 AM

Virgin slayer, hook RS up with some dead bodies
or devirginized chicks, either way the stuff no one wants, but can use as weight :D

sittin sidewayz 11-15-2009 12:43 PM

100 or so lbs in dumbbell plates.

godwin 11-15-2009 12:52 PM

How about full tank of gas? 1L ~ 1kg.. most cars have 50L tanks.. that's >110lbs.

CorneringArtist 11-15-2009 01:11 PM

I'm gonna load up a 15+ year old Kenwood interface that weighs like 35 pounds and the EQ balancer that went with it, and probably have my brother sit his fat ass in the back seats to be safe.

woozzle 11-15-2009 01:47 PM

why do you need to weigh it down?

eugg 11-15-2009 01:51 PM

my engines already in the back :D

traction. a bit of weight over the rear wheels always yields better traction.

i remember one time i was driving an empty cargo van to the states. basically it was going nowhere, u can see the rear wheels just slowly spinning even in D without giving it any gas...

Just remember.. If you have a hatchback make sure whatever you put in the back can be bolted down. IF you get in an accident you really dont want whatever you put in the trunk to be hitting you in the back of the head..
