Something different from a fellow RS photog :)

Hi Guys,

I don't post much around here but have been a long time RS member and I'm sure some of you may know me

I am a photographer by trade (live event/performance photography), but am slowly moving into cinematography. I thought what better way to practice than take one an HD Cam to the Arctic Ocean. I also took the D300 but I haven't gotten around to editing the pics

This is a highlight reel of a looong journey 2 buddies and I made in August. Comments and criticism is welcome and encouraged

Watch in HD with sound on!

PS: I'm getting a little impatient waiting for Nikon to release a comparable competitor to the Canon 7d or 5DmkII... the D3s doesn't cut it for me as I am truly one of those guys looking for the best of both worlds, although the D3s is amazing for photography alone

D300s is comparable to the 7D, but it probably falls short on the cinematography side, unfortunately. On the still picture side we don't quite know yet, but I want that 51-point AF system! Haha, I can get fed up with my 5D2's AF sometimes, the 7D's 19-point AF system is a huge improvement and I wish I had it.

For the 5D2 competitor I guess we're going to have to wait for the D700s.

I know! I played around with the 5DMkII but I couldn't handle the AF system, I would really miss my 51-point
