Winter Projects

So what have people got going on during the rainy season?

Personally I don't have huge car things going on this winter as I have enough other things to do, but I'm going to try for this:

Mustang:
-Turbo removed and sent out for new bearings - was fuxxored and is now a 67mm GT-37
-Minor detailing things, replace rinky-dink little stuff that has deteriorated with age, work on swirl removal and paint flaw removal, etc.

Lightning:
-Ported Eaton
-New plugs - done
-New C&L plenum -done
-New SBTB - done
-New CAI - done
-New dual pass heat exchanger - done
-New catback as the existing one is super loud - done
-install MAFia, EGR delete - done
-Metco pulley system - done
-Pulley up to 6lbs of boost over stock - bought - still questioning if I should install
-Lower slightly more - done but awaiting shock extenders forth rear
-Bought 22" rims and tires and installed
-14" SSBC front brakes installed

I'd like to see somewhere around 430-440rwhp & 550 rw ft/lbs on the truck. I don't know if the above will be enough to get me there, but should be close.

Mustang still needs more tuning as it popped the headgasket on the dyno due to a boost controller issue, and never completed the tune process. I would expect similar #s to the truck for power but with a bit more hp, but in a chassis that is 1700 lbs lighter than the 4700 lb beast.

maybe a turbo upgrade on the supra, might build a second motor to be safer at higher hp. ~450 at the wheels would be pretty easy to do, and id rather tune for area under the curve than peak numbers.

Coils. Then I need to find a fender roller.

Then adaptors, wheels, rubber, and done. Don't need much more for a daily!

If I get time I'll work on the G60, but it really doesn't need anything and I've learned now that if it ain't broke, you shouldn't try to fix it...

Altho it is a VW, so what isn't broken?

I've seen your car around HAFAST.

This winter my only real project is fixing a few things on the Stealth once my foot heals so that I can drive it on my birthday. I broke my foot in 3 places :[

Um. I spent a day polishing up my actual winter ride/all season DD. Hard to make a 14 year old no option, rubber floormatted, automatic, 3.0L V6 look teh hotness, but atleast it is clean.

So what if I've been polishing a turd. I think the oil cap and "VOLVO" turned out to be a pretty well polished turd. The biggest mistake is that everything else around it looks even worse than before now.
