Yeah I was pretty annoyed when I was looking to redeem XL fries for 4000 points, only to find that option removed.

This latest round of Monopoly has also been crap. So far I have collected 36 pieces and only won 1x medium fries and 1x McPop. Via the Double Play option, I won 4000 points twice.

Do you just drink 48oz cups of coffee now or something? :lawl:

It isn't exactly an amazing item by any means but the grilled cheese is finally back at McDonalds after being gone for something like 7 or so years. My son used to always get it as a happy meal and was sad when it was gone. It's a pretty shit grilled cheese for any standard it's just 2 x the middle bun from a bic mac with cheese. part of the happy meal roster so for kids they will like it but for adults don't bother.

Monopoly prizes anyone?

There's no point in collecting Monopoly pieces unless you happen to pull the rare piece that wins the prize. Google the rare pieces and toss anything that's not on the list.

I remember when they first started doing Monopoly at McDonald's, there would be ads in the classifieds asking for the second part of the Boardwalk/Park Place set, and they would share the winnings. Has anyone tried the new pickle chicken sandwich? (I forget the exact name.)

A friend told me that he ate the Triple Pickle McCrispy.
His thoughts on this chicken burger:


Taste: Pretty good. The chicken tastes good. Tasty and crispy.

If you really like pickles, he said that this Triple Pickle McCrispy is a pickle explosion. You get dill-pickle seasoned cucumbers, pickles, AND creamy dill pickle sauce.

Friend found that the dill pickle sauce gives too much pickle flavour to this McCrispy. Of course, you can change your order to omit the dill pickle sauce.

Personally, I don't care for cucumbers so if I ordered the Triple Pickle McCrispy, I would omit the cucumbers and have pickles and dill pickle sauce for this sandwich.

Texture: Chicken is crispy. The potato bun has a soft texture.

Overall score from my friend: 7.5/10.

I found the grinch ornament, thanks to Reddit. Hastings and Alpha. They just got them. I just straight paid two bucks for it. No Happy Meal needed.

Not crazy about the socks, but does it come with the little grinch stuffie?

I got the grinch meal last week and only got the socks - no point getting it if you don't want the socks.

The sour cream dip is pretty decent, but that's a standalone add-on and doesn't require the grinch meal. The tater tots are nothing to run there for either.

I think the plush toys are separate from the meal, maybe they come with the happy meal.

I was at metro and they wouldn’t sell me just the socks I had to get a meal

The cookie dough latte tastes pretty good, not super sweet as I was worried it might be
I couldn’t use my points got it though, I guess it didn’t allow points for seasonal drinks
