The Lynn Valley one sucks. Not only does the walk-in close early but the drive thru is extra slow. Especially if you’re going at night. Boundary and Lougheed one is slow too. Almost always my order of jr chicken will cause me to have to wait in the pickup area The Still Creek one is usually pretty good though. Their usual team disappeared for a couple weeks, a few months ago, and the people who covered for them were really bad. |
Dang I've always though the Boundary/Lougheed location was pretty good? I find Still Creek to be one of the worst. |

By far, the worst location is the one at 264th exchange. You know, the one next to the street races at Gloucester Business Centre. So unbelievably stupid. Everybody seems to hate working there. No smiles look miserable and want to get the hell out of there. Kind of disturbing, actually. |

Boy if you think Main St is better, then Lougheed/Boundary must be a pile of garbage lol |
I went to the one at high gate the other morning and the chick working the drive tgough only said “yea?” I didn’t say anything because I thought she was talking to someone else and then she’s like “well go ahead…” lol |
The McDonald's in Sidney salts their fries perfectly, not too much, not too little. No other McDonald's has ever been as consistent in how much salt they put on their fries |
During my first McJob at 15 years old I was on fries and we had a secret shopper come in. Apparently I had produced the best/most perfectly seasoned fries that person ever had on the job. It didn’t turn out great for me as I was on fries so often after that I was nicknamed “Chips”.. I quit shortly thereafter. |
I remember my Mc first job working at the fries station. Pretty hard to mess it up salting it. You just turn the salt shaker once, but then I was a teen then. A lot of kids working there probably don't care anyways. |
Nothing to turn on the salt shakers when I worked there. You were trained to “draw” the golden arches over them essentially making a big airborne M out of salt and then mix em up. |
Japanese McDonalds has perfectly salted fries, and always very fresh, fried in beef tallow When I order here I have to ask for a packet of salt, there's never enough. Also they use vegetable oil for no reason other than stupidity (and maybe cheapness?) |

I went all karen(jk) on them in an email because of their app and lost points. They responded saying they will mail me a coupon for one free large sandwich. I accepted becasue I didn't expect them to do anything more anyways. Received another email from them following up on my answer: https://i.imgur.com/i4fSfDB.png :ahwow: For context, I lost about 6400 points. Rewards for Reference: 4000 pts - Cheeseburger ($2.59) 6000 pts - Junior Chicken ($2.99) 6000 pts - McDouble ($2.99) 10000 pts - Big Mac ($4.99) |
^ you go ballistic Karen on them for all of us. I hate the expiring point idea that they introduced! Q: has anyone figured out how to use the app for 2 promos at a time? Say $1 and $1 coffee? Is it possible? Or 2 ice cream cones for $1. Am I doing something wrong? |

When I want to do two, I either sit in the parking lot and do the first one, wait till you get the drive thru code and then make another order and repeat. Then drive up to drive thru and tell them two mobile orders. Or I park and do one order in the car, get the pick up number and as I walk inside I make another order and just remember the first code as it'll disappear. |
Just screenshot the codes as they appear |
Somebody need to go full Karen on them for that too then! |
Add being able to load gift cards to a "wallet" in the Mcd app to that list of wishes. |

NVM, it's only for new accounts............ I hate this shit. Nespresso does shit like that all the time. Free gift, free sleeve............. except you have to buy like 70 pods. Basically $150.00 of one type of coffee or something ridiculous. |
For the love of Jennifer Love Hewitt's titties, I just checked the app. McCrispy Chicken is on the app for $3.99. Time to check it out. EDIT: Only one time use and for a very very short time............... which is all I needed, to say, "I tried it." |
I tried it. I hated it. What a huge miss of a chicken sandwich. Not a fan of dry white chicken meat. I guess its "healthier"? But whos going to McDonalds to feel healthy. |
Just tried it. Don't hate it, but it was, meh. Like most foods, it's edible when hot. Cold, not so much. Hard to chew, dry, and not much of a difference. Potato bun was okay, but my sandwich was overloaded with sauce. At $3.99 it was okay. Would not order it again at any price. A McD's experiment fail. |
