RICHMOND, BC, June 21, 2017 /CNW/ - This year marks McDonald's Canada's 50th anniversary and to commemorate the milestone, the restaurant chain will be re-opening the doors to its first-ever Canadian location in Richmond, BC on Friday, June 23rd.
For the opening weekend, the restaurant is celebrating loudly and proudly with some nostalgic elements, including original uniforms, a vintage car, classic images over the past 50 years and a throwback to 1967 with a special one-day $0.67 hamburger special.

I'm confused, is this today or for 23rd on a friday? Article indicates that doors reopen friday and 60s themed with 67 cent burgers. Today is the media event and ribbon cutting.

I'm thinking it might still be closed today as a soft launch.

Took the kids for happy meals yesterday and noticed a crispy chicken guacamole burger with jalapeños on the menu. Gave it a shot and have to say it was the best McDs burger I've had in a while. Probably helped that whoever made it actually assembled it properly.

Every time I get those, they put a dab of guacamole and like 2 jalapenos. Grandview and Renfrew location.

I always ask for extra guacamole on the side depending on the location they charge and who's at the till its free to $1.50-2 extra. I find it dry sometimes so I put a tiny bit of sweet and sour sauce.
Went to McDs on Friday after 2 months of not eating it.
Found out they don't serve Bacon McDoubles anymore. Not sure if location specific but now you buy basic MdDoubles and add bacon for extra coin. Lame. I never realized how mushy the McDoubles are without the bacon holding it together.
