reviews? thinking about picking one up

its one of the first SE phones with decent video.. thats all i can think of.. other than that i think its ugly. and i dont know how responsive the touch screen is

my girl loves it, coz it has the keypad and the dock.


Things I don't like.
1) it's white, it get dirty within a week
2) I prefer physical qwerty keyboard
3) 3" screen is too small for web browsing
4) oem theme is laggy
5) shitty battery
6) camera is worse than I expected.
7) PS3 function is useless.

^ how is the bt headset it comes with, im more interested in that than the phone.

the touch screen only works in media browser... very limited usage

the overall is pretty laggy as well switched back to e71 :S

wat about the other one? Sony Ericsson Satio costs a bit more $760

saito will drop prices like a rock ....

se phones generally have incredible battery life, it'll be unique as not much if any had it.

think SE w960 it was a great phone symbian, 16GB of music, a2dp and a AF3.2mp camera. No one has one of those, it was suppose to be popular but no one has one.

Did you type this on a full keyboard or are you just retarded? Perhaps a bit of both?

Battery life is fine. I don't charge mine for days =S
White doesn't get dirty at all unless your hands are nasty all the time and don't wash them or something... They do have black.
BT Headphones are average, I have a separate pair... Sony as well.
It uses touch screen for the settings in camera mode so it's kinda annoying in that sense and the camera is somewhat slow, but on phone cameras haven't really impressed me yet and I usually have a camera on me.
Anything in the media menu's slow but the new SE phones are all like that to my knowledge.

Aino....is too heavy hahaha

- battery sucked..lasted max 2 days for me..sometimes one day
- bug with the bt...when u get a text msg..the phone will sound..and then sometimes it'll auto go to the lowest volume possible and you wont hear a sound..and you have to play with the bt to get the volume back out (i'm listening to radio)
- bug with text msg...sometimes after u send a msg and you dont go back to home screen and close the slide..when a new msg comes in there wont be notification..
- camera does suck..for a 8mp..
- touch screen not really responsive..in comparison to the nokia 5530 i'm using now
- wifi was super slow..
- there is a lag in the menus and esp a lag when ur taking pictures..saving takes 10 secs..ftl...

- only think i really like is the bt headset..battery life and quality is pretty good...i can walk 10m away from the phone and still get good reception..

The satio is terrible....

roger's is getting it... or already got it

Satio is way overpriced just like any other sony products. It's thick and I hate that stupid camera cover, which looks so cheap.


- Battery Life depends on the usage and signal strength. My gf's one last for about 1.5days and it drops to the last bar. It's much worst than other SE phone we owned

- She regrets she bought a white one, even though her phone is always in her bag, but it gets greyish pretty quick. Who doesn't like white phone?

- I prefer a 3mp camera with good quality than a 8mp that can't focus properly.

- The touch screen, as other people mentioned, it's crap

I only give it a 6.5/10, where iphone is at 9/10, and other SE phones at 8

Haven't experienced any bugs like you mentioned though =S

Anal definitely isn't for everyone.

If you just need an easy to use phone with decent features and accessories, you should be happy with the Aino, especially if you like the JDM looks. It's not a smart phone, and therefore should not be compared to one.

im looking to get this phone, mainly as a mp3 player and for the camera
i personally really like the look of this phone especially in white. but how does it really get dirty? i owned a white p906i before and always stayed white till the day i sold it.
i also used an X1 before... so i don't think the slowness will brother me that much compare to the X1...

anyway... should i get this phone or wait for something else like the nokia x6?

damn, I want an se phone again, aino and satio caught my attention, but after these feedbacks i am scared! haha
