Suggestion: Mandatory pics and signs for bull&sell

I think its hard enough already to find the item and info you want for the items being sold in the buy&sell forums. But then having to find it and not have actual pictures makes it very frustrating.

May I suggest that sellers must post actual pictures of the item along with a sign to show that those pictures were legit. Also, it shows the buyer clear views of any defects flaws of the item as well.

I've been doing this to the the items that I'm currently selling right now on the Buy&Sell section to show that I'm an honest seller.
I've seen this rule put in place in other car forums already. This is to ensure safety that the item the buyer is trying to buy from the seller is real and legit and not some scam.

So mods, whatcha guys think?

Thanks

It's hard to make that mandatory, maybe only for certain subforums. But we wouldn't want to discourage people from posting cause they have to write a sign and take a pic of their canucks tickets or something either

i think problems like the ones you mentioned are few and far in between on rs.
definitely happens but the postings in B&S would decrease dramatically.

i mean, if someone is selling a $10 item (poor kids, happens all the time here), then is it worth their while to take pics? and the crappy quality of most camera phones wouldnt really let you see the product perfectly anyway. also people can obviously avoid taking pics of the flaws on the products easily.

i think if the seller really wants to sell an item, they will provide all the necessary info and pics with it. it all depends on how motivated they are.... price is not the only factor...
