I think the only good deal I ever found on CL was the Nikon 80-200 AF-S (I think I paid the guy exactly 1k CDN in 2006)... damn that was a sweet lens and one that I wish I had kept...

othewise, CL is full of scammers, questionable characters, and deals that are often too good to be true.
