Ya I did. I got gold for the champ but the car they gave me when I won was a '64 pontiac gto not sure if i would have got something better if I had won that last race as well.
Hah, I took a break from racing with my modified NSX-R and collecting credits so I went into the photo mode for a while
Such a difference between all stock NSX-R and modified NSX-R. Fastest lap time I got at Nurburgring was 7:38.814 with stock NSX-R and 7:07.659 with modified NSX-R. Take that Gan San! haha
What's weird is that all I've been doing to my stock NSX-R after a few races are oil changes and car wash. Now I have a bit more horse power then straight from the dealership on the NSX-R just because of that? Seems strange but whatever.
I heard that a NA1 NSX will be more responsive and still have a lot of horse power once the motor is broken in after 30,000km ish or so. Maybe GT5 did the same thing? I dunno, whatever Trying to get the fastest lap time with 98 ITR at Tsukuba now

i didn't want to come off as being rude so I didn't post in your WTB thread but you won't find DFGT/G25/27 for $70/130/180 respectively..especially if you want to find 'em anytime soon.

Doing oil changes increases horsepower but engine break in is where the real power comes from, once you break in your car (10k km) you should do an engine rebuild and gain power...car washes do not increase anything(AFAIK) so your wasting your money on those

endurance? sounds boring.. how come theres not car restrictions on say grand valley 300km ? then it says typical opponents are 300hp cars.. why don't i just drive my 700+ hp LFA lol. Do you get better reward if you drive a shittier car? I always wonder this.

Yup, was thinking the same. Didn't want to crap in the WTB thread but you know "Beggers can't be choosers".
Pay up if you want it "ASAP". If you want to cheap out and pay less you gotta play the waiting game.
I just sold mine 2 weeks ago for $300 (G25+wheelstand+GT5).

Once you reach level 30, in the special events, there is 3 races you have to try and beat Sebastian Vettel in the Gran Turismo Redbull X2010. It's damn near impossible to get silver or gold. Holy fuck.
Anyone get silver or gold? This car is absolutely ridiculously fast.
oh I'm on it! I'll be there by the end of today haha. I've been doing that Honda Civic seasonal over and over. So much fun although its getting a bit boring but I need the easy credits in order to purchase a few expensive cars :S

the redbull x1 is an insane car to drive so fast that you will be breaking all sorts of records with it
however, with that said, it really isnt enjoyable for me.. just seems really arcade-ish because of the things that the car is capable of. I'd rather drive the F1 2010 instead, or other cars but ill admit that the redbull was an awesome car to drive lol

I agree. It's crazy fast and almost not realistic. Did you buy it? 10 million lol
x2010 is $20 million...but you'll get it for free when you reach Lvl 35.
as far as the Vettel challenge involving this car majority of the people can barely break bronze with the controller...i think on GTPlanet there's only been 2-3 members that they claimed golded the event the last time i checked. Even with a wheel it's very difficult and takes a lot of practice/patience.
I was only able to get gold on the second event but the other 2 only bronze... I wouldn't pay 20mill to buy it tho lol

when i take a photo of my car via replay mode, where do my pictures go? because i cannot see them in my photo album when i get to GT life homescreen.
you have to make sure you press X and save them, because if you press back then they get deleted...once saved in the photo album export them to XMB photo viewer or whatever its called so it exports them onto your ps3 harddrive where u can put them on a USB
