GT5 Okay so the reason I bought my PS3 was in antisipation for Grand Turismo 5! However it has taken much longer than I wanted but its coming....eventually. http://boardsus.playstation.com/play...read.id=419892 Looks like March 2010 for the Japan release date. Anyone have an idea on when we might see it here? Anyone else looking forward to this release? |
i waited too long tat i actually dont care anymore |

It was a factor when buying my ps3 as well and delays got too ridiculous I pretty much don't care anymore. The ground breaking graphics aren't so impressive anymore either. I'll still buy it but I don't really care when it comes out. |
How is the prologue btw, is it worth picking up and then buying the full when it comes out? |
Prologue isnt worth the disk its copied on. I got bored in about 1/2 an hr. Is there an advantage to owning the prologue before the full version? (besides obviously playing a little first) |
Prologue was only worth it when they had the buy the game and spend $5 bucks to get an extra controller deal. |
what delay? March 2010 was their first set date for release..everything else you saw was BS speculation. Yes it's been forever since GT4 and I bought my system in 2007 just to play this game...disappointed but I know this game will be close to perfect when it comes out. Prologue is great, you finally get a taste of online on a GT game...enough cars but not enough tracks PD also said there's a probability you can transfer cars/credits into the full-game. But since we're probably only half a year to the real thing it might not be worth it to get prologue unless you can find it for $15 |

Prologue is only worth getting if you are a hardcore GT fan (ie: myself) |

Jokes aside, I don't like how they had even less cars in GT3 than in GT2 but it almost seems like they keep reusing the models from the old series and just add some new cars and call it a day (and you can't even modify the cars as much as in GT2). Don't know what's taking them so long to release the game. |

i kinda of stopped caring about gt5. i can only wait so many years.... i bought an xbox just for forza and i can already tell forza > gt5 when it comes out. i can easily see it being a huge letdown.. usually when a game delays that long, it aint nothing good. daikatana anyone? |
read my above post. they're taking forever because they're perfecting everything they can. |
im pretty sure the game will be far from perfect. gt hasnt really been fun since gt2 |
speaking of which I'm playing GT2 right now :lol |
nice, audi tt lm edition ftmfw |
I just bought GT4 for $1 after I sold GT5P few months back lol |
GT prologue was $20 when i first got it now it's like $50 what a rip off. but i have the new GT wheel so there hasn't been a racing game to really put it to use yet. i've been waiting for too long |
i've given up on GT5... the only thing that can make me interested in the series again is if they include the rumored track editor, otherwise i'm getting Forza and a X360... all these delays is causing me to anticipate MAJOR disappointment... Plus I wanna try slapping on an N sign on the back of a digital car... the cars on the Forza thread with N signs on them amused me... |
WOW They have a Bundled Controller and prologue thing going on LOL. I got mines for way cheaper back then when GT5P just came out! http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...4&catid=24297# |
Anyone selling GT2 Japanese version? :D I have the pirated version but i want the real version cause I miss the intro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8O3dqSaAV8 |
