911Fanatic/T-Dawg vs 2010 Camaro

Client had told me he ordered this car last fall. That would be the fall of 2008. It finally showed up in August. I told him to have it delivered with the plastic still on it and we would PDI it ourselves. It showed up with 4 little strips of plastic-one on each corner. What a joke.:fs: Car had 0 miles upon delivery. Looked like it had 1000. You'll see.

Washed with RG sheepskin mitt and Werkstat shampoo.
Tires, wheels and inner fenders done with AG Custom Wheel Cleaner
Clayed with CM Blue and AM Bodyshine #49 for lube
Polished with Flex 3403 and Flex 603 using green GI pads for defects and black LC pads for jewelling
Polishes were Menz Power Finish for defects and 85RD for jewelling
Protection was Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection x2
LSP today is RG55 applied via Porter Cable and Gold LC pad
Leather got GI leather Conditioner
Glass cleaned with AG Fast Glass and Exclusive WW Glass Towels

Total time - 21 hours

Brand new 2010 Camaro. The highlighted areas show where the plastic was.

This car was delivered very filthy as shown in the next few pics.

Water staining. This was present in a few areas around the car.

Some scratches that required polishing to remove.

Tar like stuff on rear spoiler

Bird etching

Another scuff / bird crap tag team!

Something in the paint.

One of a few gouges around the car

On the plus side, paint readings were quite good.

Even more damage.

These scratches were under the door handle. Passenger side. WTF?

Paint was fairly clean.

Yet another gouge. We removed as much as possible without sanding.

Even more scuffs. Will the carnage ever end?

Water stains before....

and after.

After jewelling with 85RD and Black LC CCS and a coat of BF AFPP.

And for our LSP....

RG55 setting up after being applied with PC and LC Gold pad

Nice.

After compounding and polishing, this one was too deep to remove completely.

Wheels were sealed with DG 105 x2.

Some afters for you.

Lovely beading shots:applause2:

Some outside shots for you. It was overcast and the sun was playing hide and seek all day.

This client called me again last week. Since we did the car 3 months ago, it has undergone some changes. It has been tweaked with a new suspension, 20" Foose wheels and engine mods allowing it to make just over 500hp at the wheels. Apparently the guys doing the work scuffed it up a bit so I'll be back there shortly to fix it up. :thumb:

Thanks for looking.

i just don't get it... mine was shrink wrapped in a huge plastic diaper with a little hole for the windshield and a cutout for the driver door... nothing is exposed.

and then i see... this.
