Where to buy optima battery for RSX?

Hi! I am looking for a place to buy optima battery for my RSX type-s. Do anyone know where I can get them cheap in lower mainland or is it better to drive down to the states to buy them?

Thanks

kuroi_tuki 12-01-2009 08:07 AM

I think red top is like 170

Polar battery on Boundary street in Burnaby, they have the cheapest prices with the widest selection of optima batteries.

LORDCO

Unless you have a sound system that draws a lot of power, spending $170 on an Optima is throwing monday away.

Mugen EvOlutioN 12-01-2009 11:34 AM

thought red top is just like a regular battery, except overpriced

but yellow aint for every car

You can get Optima from Costco or Walmart.. honestly no other places can beat their prices and freshness due to their volume.

To the OP: Make sure you check the Optima website to see if they even make the size you want.

Mugen EvOlutioN 12-01-2009 02:42 PM

i believe no yellow top for DC5

only red

dohboi 12-01-2009 02:44 PM

umm Soundworks has them in Yellow Top in Group 51 or 51R and I bet you they are cheaper than costco and Polar Batteries. And I think he stocks them too

I'm pretty sure Soundworks gets their Optimas from PB,who knows,I could be wrong.

Considering Polar batteries supplies pretty much half the battery stores with batteries.

I picked up my Yellowtop D51 from them, they were the cheapest place around that carried it,believe me,I called alot of places.
