Police Cars from Around the World

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af..._hummer_h2.jpg
Hummer H2

Where? USA
Why? Creative accounting. Either that, or this Sheriff isn't planning on taking a pension…

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af...rbonmotors.jpg
Carbon Motors E7

Where? North America
Why? The first all-original police car, this vehicle will be in service across the continent within two years — complete with rear suicide doors and diesel power.

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af...nissan_gtr.jpg
Nissan GT-R R34

Where? Japan
Why? It's hard to catch street racers, unless you're driving a vehicle nicknamed, "Godzilla."

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af...challenger.jpg
Dodge Challenger

Where? USA
Why? Some Sheriff decided he'd look better in a muscle car. We can't argue with that, but: green and white paint? Ew.

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af...ubishi_evo.jpg
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

Where? Malaysia
Why? We can't think of a better all-round police car. Shame we'd have to fly halfway around the world to see it.

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af...ta_corolla.jpg
Toyota Corolla

Where? Singapore
Why? Maybe officers have trouble sleeping on the job — the boring Corolla would take care of that problem.

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af..._lexus_isf.jpg
Lexus IS-F

Where? England
Why? Standard-issue diesel hatchbacks and Volvo wagons must get boring — best spruce up the fleet with a 400+ horsepower super sedan.

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af...echart_911.jpg
TechArt Porsche 911

Where? Germany
Why? This one-off custom police vehicle isn't exactly what every officer drives in Germany. Maybe they give it to the employee of the month…

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af...t_corvette.jpg
Chevrolet Corvette

Where? Birmingham, Michigan, USA
Why? This Corvette Z06 may not still be in service, but I bet it made high speed pursuits much easier.

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af...nissan_gtr.jpg
Nissan GT-R

Where? Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
Why? How else will you catch speeding supercars if you're not using a speeding supercar of your own?

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af...i_gallardo.jpg
Lamborghini Gallardo

Where? Where else...Italy
Why? Why not?

http://autos.sympatico.ca/docs/4b0af..._jaguar_xf.jpg
Jaguar XF

Where? England
Why? Because tea and crumpets are best enjoyed in comfort…while catching a perp.

----------------------------------------------------

My favourite is probably the Lexus IS-F. English people sure have good taste....:p

2 ex-police camaros for sale on craigslist right now. I really wanted a low mileage ex-cop camaro instead of the trans am but I was never able to find a low mileage one.

True. Once I was cruising to Squamish on the sea to sky when outta nowhere this car comes down an exit off ramp while I was doing 160km+ , motherfucker was right on my ass so I moved to the other lane, so did the car behind me. All of the suddon I see cherries on my ass, got pulled over by a chick in a RT charger, $160 ticket, stupid bitch put 2008 insted of 2009, so I disputed the ticket with no hassle. :D Ultimately I still think Chrysler transmissions are shit.

mekaw 12-01-2009 11:52 PM

skyxx 12-02-2009 12:48 AM

Ghost cars. Or All decal'd out ones?

For ghost cars it can be almost anything. From Civics to TLs RDXs etc etc

Full on decal ones are Crown Victorias, Honda Civic SIR(EP3).

Most cops wouldn't mind driving that in Singapore as it would cost them 80-90g to buy / own one. Few of my friends couldn't believe how the M-Benz E200 is one of the top selling car there and it cost $250,000.

threezero 12-02-2009 01:22 AM

That's converted into Canadian dollars too. They have heavy car taxes in Singapore.

JesseBlue 12-02-2009 08:35 PM

^ in the end...you still don't own the car in singapore...think of it as a long term lease...
