Metal (and all its sub genres) bands anyone?

just looking at what people listen to. I'm always interested in listening to new bands so just let me know what bands you like, whether it be metal, death metal, deathcore, metal core, etc etc.

last ones I've found and liked:

-Bring Me The Horizon
-The Devil Wears Prada

my faves:

-August Burns Red
-I Killed The Prom Queen
-As Blood Runs Black

Check out the link in my sig

As far as metal, I'm mostly listening to local bands. Antiquus is some killer melodic power metal, lot of story/theme/concept stuff. Then again, I'm biased because I recorded their debut CD
http://www.myspace.com/antiquus ("Empire Rising" is from "my" album)

Another current fave is Over The Coals - they're more on the death side, but with a solid melodic component that I dig.
http://www.myspace.com/overthecoals (check out "We Fall Behind")

Oh, and Without Mercy... full-on death, with the most amazing chick singer. Little blonde waif of a thing with cookie-monster vocals that'll shred your socks.

Lotta other great stuff in town, that's just what comes to mind immediately.

Without Mercy actually sounds really good. I listened to some of their songs on myspace and it's actually not bad. I like songs that are complicated and fast on drums.
