I would think that 6'1" is the optimum height, or close to it. You can still drive sports cars and wear regular clothing and at the same time, you are slightly taller than the average.

For the record, I'm a true 5'10" and I feel pretty short sometimes on the commute to work.

i'm 5'10 - 5'11. I think this is good enuff. I dun feel the need to be any taller

i usually date guys who are 5'11 around there...i'm only 5'2... but lately i've been noticing some 5'5-5'6 guys who i'd like to be all up in my business.

im barely 5'8 and around 145lbs luckily im only attracted to asian girls. most asian girls r like 5'3 to 5'6 (exluding those koreans) my ex was 5'6 so whenever she wore heels i felt disproportionate to her. tho the height difference never mattered, it does look abit weird to have a shorter guy w/ taller girl.

wow at some of these replies, how tall is actually tall, some people say 5'10 5'11 5'9, and 5'8 isn't what I would classify as short. I'd say that's pretty average, my good buddy hai is like 5'6-7 but he gets all the girls haha. I'm like 5'10-5'11 so it's okay I guess, I used to be a big boy in hs, lucky being the only stocky white boy in group full of Asians makes you'd stand out lol

Yes and no. Although you will be built, the bigger you are, the shorter you look! The trick is to be toned, muscular, but not BULKY if you are short. I am between 5'6 and 5'7 depending on how straight I stand up and I agree, it's easy to wish you were a few inches taller, but really, as long as you're confident and successful, you need not be lonely.

You do have a point about the bigger you are,the shorter you will look.

Then again,I work out for myself,not to please other people.If one girl does not like the way you look,there will always be another girl that will.

I'm 5'6 and when I was younger I had a hard time picking up girls - but only because I was shy and quiet. In the last 5-6 years I have cared less and less about my height and more about the way I present myself. With this added confidence its really not a problem finding women as the women who are attracted to me for other reasons than height or looks are the kind of women that interest me anyways. I have dated women who are 1-3 inches taller than me with no problems whatsoever.

I'm around 5'8" and I feel short at times, some of the girls I work with are freaking tall. But I like my height. :) It's not stature that matters. It's attitude :3

all you really need is a little class, some manners and a lot of money (effort), which any man in this world can do, if they tried, then women would be asking similar questions about why they can't get you, instead of the opposite way around.

Ya, I'm 5'10" and I totally feel short because all my friends are 6' and up. I think the perfect height is 6'1" but you can't control it so whatever. I got some friends who are 6'6" and they wish they were shorter so it's all in perspective I guess. :)

My height without shoes is just a tad over 6ft.
