I was the tall guy from grade 4 to grade 8. Then I stopped growing, but this hasnt affected me when trying to get a date. Im 5'5 on the dot. im 5'6 1/2 with Nike shox! thank you Nike.

i'm barely 5'6"
all the way up to even last year i've been very self-concious about my height
a little better now...but just another 3" and i would have so much more confidence
i dont work out either just to maximize a miracle that i can still squeeze a few inches (i've seen my frds done it in the past year...i'm 20 so i still have a little hope?)

it's not a super huge of a problem since i'm into asian girls...but it sucks when they dress up and wear heels :lol

i would recommend stretching, a lot of exercise and eating to jolt your metab

they say you stop at 19-20 (correct me if im wrong) only way to increase height is proper posture. I wear shox for that extra inch, and bought a nice pair of dress boots with a 2 inch heel that really helps.

more vertical exercises for you... my major growth sprout was 19 - 22... most male grow till they're 24 (don't quote me on this)

:haha::haha: LOL at this whole thread! and yeah you can grow after the age of 20, i grew over an inch between the ages of 21-22! stretch lots (yoga) so you have good posture, when your backs all F'd up your muscles contract and make you shrink. measure yourself as soon as you get up in the morning every couple weeks when doing yoga to see if your muscles have loosened up, then measure yourself right before you go to bed to see how much your back contracts from being on your feet all day.

I'm 5'8/5'9 and I feel short :( I want to be at least 180-183cm, I'm guessing that would be 5'11. I'm 21 and that's why I've been avoiding weights and hitting the gym even though all the girls are saying I'm a bit too skinny and that I should really hit up the gym to make myself more toned. I'm hoping that I'd get at least another inch or two bumping my height up to 5'10 or 5'11 :) before hitting up the gym intensively.

and as for growing past highschool, yes you will, but it won't be crazy like during highschool, you'll gain, very little, if anything. I've asked around, most people I know have only grown a few cm since HS, the most i've heard was like 1.5inches, from 18 years to 25 years old, so like 1.5 inches over 7 years, and he was already a 6 foot tall mother fucker in highschool.

I know a few really short dudes, like 5'5ish. Yeah, I admit, they had trouble getting chicks. They kinda gave up. but then when they gave up, they worked on themselves. they got good jobs, and a good lifestyle, and then the women came to them. so in the end it works out just fine.

in short, you short people better just accept the fact that you're short, cuz you ain't gonna get taller... but it's not all that bad, you'll probably outlive most of us if you lead a healthy lifestyle.

im the exact average human being at 6ft 180 lbs (fluctuating) and I still find it hard to find clothes and shoes that fit right in van. you short skinny people have a monopoly on everything. I wouldnt complain.

Most girls around here (Asian) are shorter than 5'4" so I can't say I've ever had any issues with people I've dated. Just gotta make sure they don't wear heels longer than 2" ;)

Now my buddies who are 5'0".. now THEY're short. But both of them are in happy relationships. One of them with a taller girl too. :)

If youre fine with your height all the props to you. Its about how you look at things. :) having said that i look for guys 5'10 and up because when i wear heels i get around to 5'9 :(
