Bought some low-end parts: Intel E3200 and MSI G31TM-P35

New RevScene/Photoshop machine at work...

The Celeron E3200 is truely amazing. I tested it on a G35 Gigabyte board
with a giant heatsink, it gets up to 3.6ghz stable @ 1.475v. Not bad for a $51
CPU. Of course on a cheapo board like MSI G31TM, it only can run at 12x266
mhz (3.2ghz) w/ stock cooling or 10x333 (3.3ghz). It is better than I expected
compare it with my other budget systems I built, like the $300 system - E1400/
E2180, which crash at 3.0ghz or above.

Spec:
Intel E3200 (1mb cache)
MSI G31TM-P35
A-data 2gb ram
Seagate 250gb
Imation DVD-writer 24x
Cheapo Made in China case with 300w PSU
Internal Card Reader

Total: $260 (+ x'mas gift from my manager - Samsung 23")

Stock Cooling + one 40mm case fan @ 3.2ghz (12 x 266mhz) @ 32C idle / 60C load
Stable as fuck!

as long as you're careful with your vcore voltage u shouldn't affect the longevity of yer cpu too much. e8400's should be kept below 1.34 i believe, not sure about these puppies tho.

^ pretty much what I do at work everyday.

the lenovo E5200 at work is for email checking only...nothing can be installed, sent out, and transferred. IT set a lot of restrictions on it.
