I think your dad's plan might work.

He parks in front of Neighbour A's house, hoping that Neighbour B will park in your spot like they usually do. Neighbour A will come back and park in Neighbour B's spot.
Hopefully by doing this enough, your dad will catch a window of opportunity when Neighbour B leaves, so that your dad can take back your spot. So when Neighbour B comes back, he has to take Neighbour A's spot. And thus, creating drama between those 2 neighbours and your spot will be forever left alone.

Just be glad that your dad is still around to bitch about things. Things could be much worse, so just go visit him again and reply in person.

I replied to his email. Telling him everything is good.
after he got off work we went to Nancy's Restaurant to pick up some dinner.
Brought it home and watched the Canucks game.

Everything is good. I guess I was just over analyzing it...

on another note, are you guys bitching about street parking or apartment parking?

i can understand if your talking about apartment parking but if it's street parking then there really isn't anything to bitch about if it only happens occasionally.

and it's public property.

it's not a regular occurance for many people and their families, myself included. admitting you are wrong was also something i never experienced from either parent. so when it suddenly comes up, it can be awkward.
