Autolismo HID`s!! cheap but....? Just wanted to ask if anyone has bought and used autolismos hid kits? The price is right at $140 for bi-xenons Also, would you guys recommend 4300k or 6000k? (specially if you bought from autolismo since different brands at the same output rating may have different colours) thanks! |
if u can get the 4300k, since it has the highest output a HID kit can have otherwise go for the 6000k, each brand varies tho in terms of the color |
I bought two bulbs from Thomas, it works as it should. Has 1 year warranty. Turned out my ballast was dying too so I tried contacting him again to see if I can buy ballasts off him too, but he never replied any of my emails after buying his bulbs. |
my car has 6000k, but all factory cars come with 4300k. it is the brightest since its the purest white. |
foig i recommend ;) |
 |

makes me wonder if he would honor his warranty especially because buying off him would mean cash and prob no receipt. was thinking of buying 2 years as well (i was going to get it installed by him too) interesting, so basically the 4300 would be a nice pure bright white light do you guys think 6000K would be a bit too blue? |
Get 4300k I got a buddy that's selling ones with slim ballast and relay for cheap. 100 for standard like h3, h11, 9006. I'll ask him how much for bi-xenon Posted via RS Mobile |
nice, are they new? yeah, sounds like 4300k is like a win/win since everyone seems happy with them, kinda leaning a bit towards the 6000k though because i want a little blue, 5000k would be great would 6000k lower light quality a lot? |
my 6000k are super bright. they're hardly blue but you can tell they arent pure white. reason i dont like aftermarket 4300k is cause they tend to fade to yellow. |
interesting, thanks would you say 6000k are even brighter than 4300k? lets say at a new state, before any fading etc i guess i wouldn't want it TOO bright, so much attention to cops also, if i got bi-xenons what would my drl's be like? |
4300k is the brightest. |
hah ok thanks, most likely going for the 6000k then last question =) i hope whats my daytime running lights going to look like |
6000k is more white, but less output 4300k is more yellow, but better output |
foig are you on 4300k stock lights? did you say you were going to 6000k? |

Also 6000k isn't too blue, do they still make 5000k hids? i'd probably get those. edit: hidoutlet has $80 hids. |
Here are my 6000Ks not too blue http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._4155257_n.jpg but as you can see the road has a little bit of blue tint on it http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._2605452_n.jpg |

140 for hid kit and how much for installation r u paying him? |
140 for kit bixenon, but now im going for this other kit for $110 because my daytime lights would be messed with bixenons 40 install 40 if i want to add another year warranty, so total of two years nice, i think ill go for the 6000k, but making sure he installs it downwards more anyone know what would happen if lets say a few years i want to go back to halogens? lots of trouble? |
This is 4100k http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...DSC_0003-1.jpg from Acura TSX projectors with Phillips 85122+ bulbs notice its pure white and the cut-off adds colour. This is the way it should be done. go OEM, or don't bother. Your either blinding other drivers or throwing light everywhere. http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...8/DSC_0020.jpg Projectors ftw. http://www.cartoka.com/IMAGES/HID/60...SE/HID6K-3.jpg Hid in reflector housing ftl! |
Hey shenmecar, Did you send me an email regarding the faulty ballast? When did you send it? What is your email address? I reply all of my emails. Perhaps it went to your junk mail? Tell me your warranty number or email address and I will replace the ballast for you. Thomas |
