Repetitive Vandalism

So my car got keyed like 3months ago. I'm pissed but whatever pay $300 for the deductable and got it fixed. So tonight the car gets keyed AGAIN in the exact same spots. So I'm out another $300 for the deductable again. So question is. I'm thinking of installing a camera to record. If I get the possibly next act on video does this help me in anyway? I mean it could be someone in the neighbourhood or someone just passing through the area but I know it's the same person.

If you install the cameras and get a facial, you will still have to pay the deductable until icbc/police can find and charge the guy for vandalism.

Edit: Did you do something to this person in the past?....seems like they do not like you very much.

Don't think he knows who this person is.

But installing a camera would be good but you would need to make sure it has a good quality resolution so you can even figure out who it is.

In addition, you would need to be in a well lit place or have night vision. Cost a pretty shiny penny but well worth it.

Yeah I don't know who it is and shouldn't be anyone that I know since I don't really know anyone in my area. Thinking of getting a sony hdd camcorder with night vision and some sorta external battery setup. Stupid thing is a drive a completly stock car so it doesn't stand out or anything.

if vandalism keeps happening, ICBC will soon either raise your comp deductible or simply refuse to sell you comp coverage... just a thought
