imo.

save yourself the humiliation of "modding" your moms grocery getting caravan.

take the time you were going to mod/shopping for parts land work for a car that has much better aftermarket support (parts, information, do it yourself tutorials).

for neons that pulse, just go on dealextreme.com, theres a set with 2 neons that pulse blue to the bass, les than $10 shipped. Simple plug and play , powered by the cigarette lighter

Honestly, I don't want to be mean, but what everybody is telling you is seriously for your benefit. Sell the van. Get a new ride. If it's your parents', grab yourself a job, or ask em' to finance you a car.

If any of the above is out of the question, I would invest in some aftermarket speakers and that's it.

Please do not attempt your own wiring with home audio equipment into your vehicle...

wow thats old.. its prob gona break down soon to be honest, sell that shit box and get something newer, japanese cars a realiable and cheap to fix. not trying to be mean btw.. after you mod that thing you would probable regret it. but if its cheap like strobe lights and u can install it your self why not? jus dont pay 400 bucks for a strobe light job like some ppl.. for the woofers once u get a new car you can always transfer to the new car. oh and if u put neons on the outside, ppl will laugh..

I am going to tell you not to do it as well. Not because I think its bad idea, as I am guessing you are trying to emulate the older late 80s early 90s custom van look:

The first problem your going to have is it’s a dodge. There really wasn’t much call for the dodge vans that I’m aware of, it was all about the Astro and the Safari.

My advice, save up a bit and then look into getting a Safari or Astro of the same Era. They should be pretty cheap, and parts will be WAY easier to find.
