GTR > ALL

monkeywrench 12-14-2009 06:09 AM

the GTR is so powerful, it could stare down its enemies, or so they say...

Meister1982 12-14-2009 10:55 AM

that mustang looks gooood!

Great68 12-14-2009 11:22 AM

That wasn't surprising...

CivicTypeRice 12-14-2009 11:25 AM

GTRAWRRR

sixthgear 12-14-2009 11:54 AM

Would have been better if the Stang had better tires on it. That was just a display of drip more than anything.

Mugen EvOlutioN 12-14-2009 12:03 PM

gt rawrr never lose

spyker 12-14-2009 01:48 PM

As much as I like the GTR,I'm going to have to go with the SuperSnake.

GabAlmighty 12-14-2009 02:20 PM

I call shens

GTR ain't bad, but as of late i have come to dislike it a bit

ilvtofu 12-14-2009 03:57 PM

As much as I like the mustang, I don't think this was a fair fight, they aren't on the same level as track cars. I say save your money and get the base GT500 as the KR really isn't that much better for the money you pay for it and have money left to buy an STI or mods for the GT500 happy days :)

Or just buy a set of drag tires and see how they stack up :D

Of course it's not a fair fight.

One was designed as a high end performance car from the ground up.

The other is a hopped up version of a car designed for secretaries and balding men in their midlife crisis

Greenstoner 12-14-2009 04:35 PM

gee tee arrr looo

mpr 12-14-2009 04:47 PM

Put some drag radials on the GT500 SS should be quite an even match to the GTR.

For straight line 1/4 mile performance should be similar even with both at stage 2 bolt on modifications.

I rather drive the GTR as a daily driver even it costs twice as much.

GTR does not cost twice as much as a super snake -.-

North American car review shows are so damn lame and corny compared to Top Gear.

GabAlmighty 12-14-2009 07:16 PM

What is "stage 2". What does it consist of?

raven69 12-14-2009 07:30 PM

dam that sucked! super snake is sick. if the gtr was rwd or the snake was awd, then it wud be waaaaay closer. and listen to the sounds of the cars. snake sounds like a real car

Timpo 12-14-2009 07:32 PM

I think the race was fair from hp or price perspective.
The GT500 Super Snake makes 245hp more than the GT-R, but it's only RWD...so it was an interesting race.

Shelby GT500 Super Snake
725hp, RWD
$79,820 US-$84,820US

Nissan GT-R
480hp, AWD
$80,790US-$83,040US

raven69 12-14-2009 07:39 PM

MUCH rather have supersnake dam look at that thing plus sound of a v8+supercharger is orgasmic

GordonTse 12-14-2009 10:33 PM
