If the rim has a minor bend in it a company like Nu Brite or Panther might be able to straighten it.

Probably best to just make an ICBC claim IMO - If you're worried about having a claim against your insurance you can always pay out the cost of repairs at the end of the job. You're covered for all damages if you make a claim, and you'll have a guarentee to go back on if something should get missed (both from ICBC as well as the shop).

Looking at the pic again, those look like RS4 replicas

G-spec 12-15-2009 02:44 PM

I did the same thing to my moms Chevrolet Venture minivan back in 2001, a taxi cut me off and I swerved into a curb to avoid hitting him, and it cost around 2 grand, and I only hit with my front right wheel going about 60km..... once again.... 2001 CHEVROLET VENTURE, FRONT RIGHT WHEEL, 2 GRAND DAMAGE !

OEM Audi parts price + a whole lot more damage than we see in the pictures = righteously paying the price for driving the same way in shitty weather as you do in dry

don't even wanna try and guess how much it will cost, but to be safe between 5 and 10 grand, please post the details of pricing once you guys figure it out at your local Audi dealer

the rim looks fixable, i've fixed something that looked like that before..brought it to panther.

trollguy 12-15-2009 04:23 PM

both the posted cars have some sweet negative caster.

Jackygor 12-15-2009 04:31 PM

The rims are easily repairable, probably cost you around 200-300 dollars. As long as the crack isn't on the spokes, its repairable, or so I heard.

why didn't she pull over after it happened to check if everything was alright? instead she just kept on driving

tonyvu 12-15-2009 07:05 PM

thats going to be costly O_o for a new control arm cause they don't re-bend those things.
buddy fucked up on his RSX in the snow last year, cost him about a 1G to get it fixed.

drive carefully everyone!

Sometimes you never know, when your brakes lock up (abs & panic - holding it) and a slight patch of ice..

I'm going to try and avoid as much driving as I can, I don't need the stress of a repair bill or meetings with icbc at this time of the year.

HAH! ABS?

No such thing on my car

:(

I told you 4x4's are invincible when it comes to C-Lai logic. For all they care, a 4x4 can go anywhere, anytime, and accomplish anything. It could even cure cancer and AIDS.

Hopefully you are able to provide us more details on the A4 so no one in the future will have the unfortunate fate of owning this trashed A4 owned by a C-lai.

She's so well connected she bought her license eh? ;)

Not only does she have the wrong attitude to cause an accident like this, she put other people at risk driving around with all that wheel and suspension damage.

She should buy a student-driver Corolla and pay a driving instructor $30000 to sit beside her for a year to learn how to drive.

Pot holes, or anything that hits the tires hard enough.

im assuming this happened on Sunday? fucking failure.I made it down in a S2000 from SFU with summer tires.
