^ you deserve 2 fails from me from the posts you made but i ran out for the day

i live literally 5 mins from there.

western lake is on 34th and victoria ACROSS from the dairy queen

the user stated it was on 35th and victoria.. its litereally on the same side as dq/donacata and fatty cows is located about 3-4 stores down from dona cata like right on the corner of 35th/vic

and wtf are u talking about arent many stores "vacant" i counted 2 that arent vacant if u count the old doctor place beside western lake and the old tea place inbetween dona catas / fatty cow

Richmonds better. Service is shitty, noone asked us if we needed a table or anything. Dropped our pop on the way to giving it to me, picked it up and put it on my table. Had to ask them to get me another one!

This place charges $1 for pop, not expensive but comapred to the all u can drink for $1 at chubby lamb and 2 for $1 at little cow in richmond.

Then they charge .50 for green onions, .50 for parsley, 1.00 for egg, and it all adds up. Came up to $35 a person. I recommend Rich

Tried it last night. Called like 30 mins before arriving to ask for a table in which the manager was more then happy to save the table for us.

Quality of food - From my one experience it was good. Everything was fresh looking and nothing looked sketchy. Variety wise it's pretty much the same as any other hot pot place in addition there was no limit on oysters. The soup base however wasn't as strong in taste as I would have liked but it wasn't like crazy watered down from the beginning wher you can tell right away they cheaped out hard.

Service - Both the 2 managers and all the servers were very nice to us. They were all on top of things, responded when we asked for them and promptly gave us what we asked for every time in a timely fashion.

Price wise very typical at $19.95 and $20.95 on weekends. Decor wise well it's a new place so it looks decent and the tables are not cramped together. Nice to have a choice in the area where I don't need to get road rage over finding parking like in RIchmond. Lots of parking in the area with nothing else around and the residendial streets don't have restrictions.

Overall Id rate it a 4 out of 5. It didn't WOW me but there wasn't anything wrong for me to give a bad rating either. Price good, location good, food good, service was good. What the hell else can I really ask for?

Will go again for sure.

Nice, I was also there from 8:30 to 10:30 tonight. It was packed with lineups. Suggest making reservations.

Here's a quick summary of my experience at Fatty Cow Hot Pot:

1. Made reservations for 8 people for 7:45. Got our table at around 8:15.
2. We were served very promptly. They took good care of us but forgot a few things like hot sauce, soy sauce, but nothing serious.
3. Food always came on time and was fresh. Quality cannot be complained about.
4. Price was decent
5. Everybody at our table had more than enough to eat and were satisfied
6. Overall, a lot better than we had expected.
7. Would go back since there's nothing else in the area (other than Richmond.)
