and u know why so many drug dealers end up with no money at the end? It's cuz they have to spend a huge chunk of them on lawyers so that they can stay out of jail. It's kinda stupid if you ask me, those dd's look so flashy with all their money but it's probably ALL they had during that moment. Most of it would be spent on a good lawyer and there are tons of those shady lawyers around (again, source is from my dd friends/acquaintances). It's sickening and disppointing to see that our justice system is so relaxed even though many of my friends do that shit.

Im not proud of my history, but i can say that when you get caught with a concealed weapon ( ie. loaded firearm) the justice system wont really come down hard if it's your first offense. A good lawyer will also get your charges dropped regardless if you are truely guilty or not.

btw, can you not have a debate without name being such a douche ?..I think you need to do a bit more research in the database and pull up some files and get a real look on case studies...You clearly dont have any experience in the feild you say you "volunteer" in.. read a pdf file, and you think you're king shit.
this is rs

see you're confusing the facts of the system, the sentencing depends entirely on the circumstances (and yes how well the lawyer can assert those circumstances)

as i pointed out, you can either face a fine or 5-10 years in jail, even if its your first offense

its the same everywhere... in terms of guns things are more lax in the united states as i pointed out. If you're stupid enough not to get a CCW permit in the US then you also face various sentences and jail time (depending on the state and your lawyer)

as for my experience i was trying to point out the spectrum of sides i have witnessed without getting into what i actually do.
when i volunteered counseling/etc i heard witnessed stories from those very people who have been charged
for my studies, i've studied case law, law, and worked in a criminal law office (for school)

In other words he was transferred to a higher security prison because he was considered a threat to other inmates. I highly doubt he will be getting raped. You're fucking retarded.

if u think he's tough good for you, but more than likely they're sending him to a "hard" prison just so he gets fucked

and in reality that he's too close to home so he'll get visitors from vancouver constantly and he may still be able to operate his own lil business even behind bars

hm or, in a harder prison he'll meet harder people with more connections. kinda like facebook, but prisonbook. lol.

It's pretty upsetting when someone does something bad then you aren't satisfied with their lenient sentence... but i think we're all forgetting the justice system isn't there to please the public, it's to rehabilitate the person in question. if it were, we'd still be living in medieval france, we'd just cut everyone's head off that committed a crime that made us angry. in some ways we should still be doing that, but then i guess one day you're gonna accidentally do something bad, and when you're up for justice, you're gonna piss your pants and wish you got a slap on the wrist, and you'd probably never do whatever you did again anyways. the humiliation and record of you being in prison or committing a crime is already punishment enough, it's a lifetime you have to carry that label around with you.

it costs over 60 grand a year to keep a person in prison. I'd rather not pay that kind of money.

Actually I don't know him. However I did read that article from the link I posted and thought you might find it interesting because it relates to your immature comment. If you think it's good for me that I think he's tough then that's fantastic. I just read that he was really into martial arts even from when he was younger and then after reading that article it further exemplified the fact that he is considered a dangerous inmate. I don't think they are transferring him to Illinois because they are trying to get some big black guy to try and fuck him. He is a human not a dog.

Furthermore, I highly doubt that any visitor would be willing to risk themselves to conduct any verbal discussions regarding his "business" over a recorded visit. You are so dumb lol

How many times have you been to jail? You don't know a thing about it except the bullshit you see on TV. You are probably some fucking geek who lives at his parents house who sits on his fat ass and plays warcraft till 5 am.

Yes because you have gone to jail so many times and you have talked to other inmates about what they are talking to their friends about. This is how you know, right? You are obviously too caught up in the film industry because the film industry depicts an incredibly accurate example of real life. You do know that when you are in jail, you can actually make phone calls? You know, with a telephone. Yea you get a phone card and you can load it up with minutes or else you can make a collect call. Also the calls are all recorded. So even if he was in Washington state, or Illinois, he could still talk to his friends from BC. So transferring him to Illinois really doesn't make it any farther away because he can still use the phone, right? You are aware of this I hope.

What is your mom making for dinner tonight?

you do realize if they really thought he was a physical threat, they would just lock him up in solitary right?

you should also have noted that the jail that he's being transferred to specifically states that they monitor all conversations, which would suggest that is not true with say the seatac prison

are you really that retarded in thinking this overweight pos is actually so much of a physical threat that they would send this inmate to a prison on the other side of the country???

and if you've read my other posts in this thread you should have been able to surmise how i would have more knowledge on how idiotic and loose lipped inmates are.

you've got his cock shoved down your throat so far that its made you blind

i'm sure the thought of your boyfriend getting sexed up by tyrone offends you but you're going to have to deal with it and move on

edit: oh and thanks for providing me a 5yr old to fail again

I bit off topic. I saw a couple last night at the movies @ the ScotiaBank theater in DT where the guy was wearing a UN hoody. Makes me wonder, aren't you just asking for trouble from rival gang members or from cops who sees you in public. Either that or I'm just paranoid being caught in the crossfire of a shooting.

I was reading the province the other day and this father was saying that he was proud of him for not turning informant on the rest of his gang like his partners and that the charges were trumped up. He didn't have a lot of money and had a 400k mortgage on his condo.

It was scary that he was raised in this household. No wonder he became what he became. I can't imagine my mother discussing my potential hit on another gang leader with pride.

I can do what I want-but I would be disowned by my family. Man, she'd testify against me.

We need to raise our children better.

But that is what the article said. If you read it. It specifically said that. So it's not what I think, but what the article said. I don't know how else to put it. I was simply reiterating what the article had mentioned. What part of the article did you not understand???

You can't just lock someone up in solitary confinement for shits and giggles. Inmates have rights, too.

My guess is the reason they moved him is cuz there would be too many connections in the Seattle prison. Obviously he would be working together with gangs in Washington. I doubt he has many connections in Illinois. Makes it harder to keep doing business.

I totally agree with that but how come Rob Shannon got to stay in Seattle when he plead guilty to smuggling over 1700 pounds of cocaine, 7000 pounds of marijuana and 3.5m in cash. He is serving 20 years. He smuggled drugs from Washington state to BC.

rofl shits & giggles? that would imply he's not a threat then (the whole point of solitary is to segregate ppl who are a danger to others; a danger to themselves; or in danger.

In the United States they have people who've been in solitary for years and years (tookie williams for instance, 6.5 years in solitary)

as for in Canada have you heard about that Bacon brother in North Fraser? they've had him in solitary since he's been in there.. his lawyer says he has psychological problems now because he's been alone too long (they've gone to court to try and get him out of there)

they have him in solitary for his own protection because the people in there are just waiting to beat the shit out of him

in all honesty it sounds like you have skewed perception of the system

Seems that the "safety and security risks" the Board of Prisons were concerned with was a plot to escape that "involved explosives and if necessary killing guards."

Quote:
B.C. gangster moved to Illinois jail: sources

He is one of British Columbia's most notorious gangsters, but even though Clayton Roueche is in jail, he is allegedly still causing trouble. CTV News has learned that U.S. authorities decided to move Roueche to a new prison because of an alleged plot to escape.

Sources have told CTV News that Roueche allegedly hatched a plan to break out of Seatac detention facility in Seattle, where he was being held on drug smuggling charges.

Canadian police say Roueche is the leader of the UN Gang, one of B.C.'s most violent drug gangs.

And sources say he had an alleged accomplice, another Canadian housed in the same jail, named Luke Elliot Sommer.

Last December, Sommer was sentenced to 24 years in prison, after he robbed a bank in Tacoma, commando style.

Sommer was trained as a U.S. Army ranger.

According to court documents, Sommer recruited his army buddies to pull off the heist.

Surveillance pictures of the robbery show men armed with AK 47 assault rifles.

" I can't remember in my 29 years where five people possibly with military backgrounds were involved in a crime of this sort,'' Chris Taylor of the Tacoma Police said.

After that robbery, Sommer was arrested near Kelowna and sent back to Washington State.

Sources say Sommer and Roueche became acquainted while in jail at Seatac.

The alleged prison break plot apparently involved explosives and if necessary killing guards.

Seatac officials won't comment.

But in a court document, they admit Roueche posed a security and safety risk to the orderly running of the federal detention centre.

So Roueche has now been moved to a high security prison in Illinois.
