To make a s2k better..... v6 http://blogs.insideline.com/straight...mb-717x477.jpg that's a s2kcr with a 3.7Litre v6 from a 09 acura TL; 305 hp and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. This would be better, right? source: http://blogs.insideline.com/straight...ls-37l-v6.html |
wow.. it actually fits... |
^ yea, I was surprised too. Best thing its still sits behind the front wheels to have a better weight distribution |
an s2000 with some torque, i like that |
Wow! Should go pretty good! It's probably already 1000 pounds less than the TL SH-AWD... |
WOW ! any vids? must be flying! |
there have been a lot more fun engine swaps with the s2000, but the fact that Honda did this makes it just so much better! |
hmm what sorta trans did they use? not that it matters, just interested |
fuck that thing must flyyyy |
so it is FWD? |
layout's still transverse; looks like they fabricated a new setup so the motor will do FR. |
no vids, no info, it's fr, not sure what tranny |
"recently modified by Honda Performance Development (HPD), has the 3.7-liter V6 from the Acura TL SH-AWD" reading the source... could it be awd? parts from the tl? |

Why didn't they just put a v8 in it? |
shit that is sick, new TL's engine  drool |
I hope they didn't ruin the weight distribution on this thing. Somehow a more powerful engine for me doesn't always make it better. I'd still prefer a high-strung motor myself. |
|
interesting development! |
Would rather have a VQ35HR in there |
weight distribution... its too nose heavy. the car is fairly light but the engine, even in the tsx v6, is too heavy |
high strung FTW, what honda should of done as a wow factor is a factory stroked turbo s2000 |
I don't know man. Some people buy the car for its engine. |
