Place to buy cardboard moving boxes cheap?

Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy cardboard moving boxes for cheap?

Need to find some good sized boxes soon and don't want to go dumpster diving.

Thanks :)

EDIT: Looking for someone/place in/near Richmond.

Go to your local grocery store. Ask any department for boxes and they'll be more than happy to comply.

I looked through a couple ads on CL but they're in Chilliwack.

computer warehouses are gold mines for empty boxes too.

I got sick and tired of cardboard boxes, so I splurged and bought a shit load of Rubbermaid containers. You can get fairly big ones for 5-8 bucks each, on sale. They last forever, are very durable, and they are waterproof. They serve as storage boxes and stack easily. They store inside each other nicely when not in use. Best decision I made. I moved in the rain and the contents stayed dry.

A company called BA Moving sold me a bunch of assorted sized boxes for $1 each, but I also used them to move me so I dunno whether it was a customer deal or whatever.

I also got some from U-Haul and they were $1-2 each. Still pretty cheap.

I think the liquor store has only small ones

Just ones you could use for moving. I don't want to pack 50+ little boxes when I can shove everything in like 15-20 bigger sized boxes.

Thanks guys

Go to McDonalds and ask for boxes. The boxes that the french fries come in are the perfect size and they have tons of them and are more than happy to give them away. That's what I have used everytime I have moved.

well..if you want the place with the most boxes it has got to be toys r us!

this time of the year their storage rooms are PACKED with inventory and have lots of empty boxes to give you..

other places I tried would be zellers..they're more than happy to give you some cardboard boxes for free

Most of the boxes in the bin don't have flaps though, might try the Costco parking lot,as people buy big items and realize they can't fit them in their Yaris or they decide they don't need the box the Raisin Bran came in once they get to the parking lot.
