is that triple X you're looking for or just any letters? I know somewhere with the 900's, but it's not triple X. and 911 is gone already

Goddamn, I need to go hunting this weekend for a triple 000 or 111. Can't prolong it any longer. If anyone knows where I can get one without having to phone/drive to every insurance place in the Lower Mainland, I'll send them $20 their way.

I'm just looking for the 900 part, the rest can be anything else.

The insurance place at Broadmoor in Richmond had 9xx WSV plates when I checked on Sunday. You can call in to check, or stop by if you're in the area.

I got my 111 plate last year from my agent, doubt he'll have anymore but I'm going in next week to renew my insurance so I'll ask for you.

Whenever they're about to run out. Every broker is different. back when I asked, some said start of the month, some said middle of then month, some said before end of the month. In reality, they order more when they're about to run out, and it arrives whenever it does.

Bump.

Will be needing a new plate within the next month or so, any good ones out there...? Or anyone know what letter certain brokers are using right now?

xxxrsxxx 04-18-2014 11:15 PM

I saw a couple of WWW license plates, anyone know which broker has them?

WWW, I believe, is long gone. Last I checked theyre on XMR, XXS, WRT, XTR, and some others that start around W or X.

I lucked out and managed to find an old stock 000 that a broker kept for a client but he ended up turning it down. You just have to keep phoning and looking. But best to do it soon before they hop over to the new order. Phone places that have high turnover of plates such as places near auto malls.

UPDATE!

Looks like the new BB0-00B format will be coming much later, probably sometime in Q4 2014 or even 2015.

MAA-MXX was originally reserved for Olympics but it never ran the whole cycle. Now ICBC is issuing the remaining M-series in regular plate format.

British Columbia License Plates

Quote:

M series (after Olympic)

799 MJT

With the end of the 16th series about to be reached with plate 999-XXX, it looks like backfilling of numero-alpha plates starting with M is being done. This could make 999-MXX the last of the numero-alpha plates with the AB1-23C format to follow.
There will be a small number of 13th and 14th series M plates along with a complete run of 15th and 16th series M plates.

4/17/14

Hi guys, I will get new car (end of May). Can someone help me. Where can I get any triple number in Vancouver / Richmond, BC? The series does not matter.

Can I start to search now and put them on hold for 2-3 weeks if found. Or brokers don't do hold? What the right steps to get triple #?

Harvey Specter 04-28-2014 04:04 PM

Gotta call around and see if any broker has a triple # plate and I doubt a broker will hold a plate for you for 2-3 weeks unless you have past dealing with them.

Thank you for the advice! Will try

A broker held one for me for 3 weeks. It had my name on it and was filed away. They may have just forgot about it so it is worth a shot.
