Re-read both of these about the incident (I know a lot of poster did not read both). Then try to tell me that the police were 100% at fault.

With regards to the banning of pitbulls. Such a stupid argument. The most that should happen with pitbulls is like....a pitbull registry, like the gun registry :P The owners should be checked out before owning one to see if they can properly take care of it, instead of raising an aggressive dog. It's not entirely the dogs fault.

Believe it or not, unless you get a mutt, this process usually exists for reputable breeders; Though it's an informal process, reputable breeders won't sell unless they approve of the buyer.

if your dog is classified as a "dangerous breed" you are supposed to mention that on your application for a dog license. that's how it is in richmond as far as i know, other cities probably the same.

Sadly though, there aren't enough reputable breeders, or people that care enough to spend the money and care to get a dog from a good breeder.
