A lot of people have their high-beams on tonight when I drove in Richmond... about 4 out of 5 cars with their high-beams on responded to my high-beam flash and turned off their high-beams right away (very impressive, considering it's Richmond).

^I wish people in north burnaby were that smart

Below freezing + foggy/humid = black ice everywhere.
Below freezing + dry = about to snow.

I don't know which one's worse.

EmperorIS 12-27-2009 07:55 AM

does this mean i shouldn't drive my SLR out?

racerman88 12-27-2009 08:00 AM

drivers just get worse when the weather does. They do not change their driving habits.

yesterday early morning, some crazed c-lai in a Caravan was bombing down my street while I was scraping ice. She noticed the end of the block coming sooner than expected and panicked, jammed on the brakes while turning the wheel when it locked up.

.... boy she looked stupid when she slid onto the curb, off the curb and sideways onto Boundary road. Luckily for everyone there wasn't any traffic at all. She continued on her way after as if it never happened.

:lol

She must have traded in her A4 for something a little safer.

had a chance to turn on my jdm yellow fog light  i like fogs

illicitstylz 12-27-2009 11:08 AM

Supposedly the 3000k and 6000k foglights provide the same amount of visible road in the fog, oposing the general convention that 3000k did a better job in the fog.

I agree! Where bouts in northy bby?

Driving back from Surrey last night, holy crap was it icy and foggy. High beams don't do shit, people need to realize this and how it screws other drivers over.

Pretty scary after merging on from steveston hwy onto 99. There's like NO lamp posts or anything so dark. lol Be careful everyone.

JSALES 12-27-2009 06:36 PM

roads were pretty slippery last night, saw cars sort of sliding and saw an SUV hit the curb haha

NeoDestinyZ 12-27-2009 10:19 PM

My tires started to spin near some take off in some intersection, almost drifted near a car lucky I counter steer it.

dread604 12-27-2009 10:26 PM

I just turn on my high beams, it helps clear the fog.
