| Compustar 2WAMR - alarm disabled?
I have compustar alarm system now the alarm function doesn't work anymore. It can open the doors and the panic mode still works but the alarm (when you bump, shake, knock) it won’t trigger the alarm anymore. I have the 2WAMR model and I am not sure if I pressed something to have it disabled. Please help!
Thanks

You're in "valet" mode. Press #1 & #3 at the same time for 1/2 a second, or less and you'll hear 2 chirps confirming that you're out of valet.

thanks for the reply. i tried it. I have a alarm indicator light. When i am on valet mode, the alarm light will not blink, but when i am on the alarm mode it blinks. So now, I am on alarm mode(armed light blinks) but when i hit the windshield or knock it alarm wont trigger. Would it be the sensitivity of the alarm? How can i increase it?

Please don't hit the window to test it. They tend to break this time of year. You need to give it 30 seconds from the time that you arm it until the time that you test it. Shaking just gets you dizzy. Don't bother. Try hitting the "B" pillar with the palm of your hand. If it still doesn't work, take it back to where you had it installed or us for a check-up.
