Vitamin C

Recently I've been reading more and more about Vitamin C.

Have a look at this link.
http://www.cforyourself.com/Overview...hy_take_c.html

Anyone take large amount of Vitamin C?

Essentially, the government says we only need around 70mg to be healthy. If you read the link I provided, it basically says 70mg is the minimum we need to prevent scurvy, but is hardly the ideal amount for optimum health.

If you take large amounts of vitamin c, there's also a good chance that your body won't absorb all of it. It's like thinking that drinking milk will help with calcium intake but if you lack magnesium to absorb it, you won't actually get anything from milk.

It also depends on how acidic your system is - sometimes, the best way to absorb vitamins is to actually detox first. It's a misnomer to think that eating a lot of oranges and boosting your vitamin C intake to 1000mg a day will help if your body can't even absorb it properly.

If you take a large amount of Vitamin C which your body can't absort, you will piss it out as it's water-soluble.

Regarding calcium intake, you need magnesium along with Vitamin D as well.

Be mindful about Vitamins A, D, E and K as they are fat-soluble, which means that taking too much will result in vitamin poisoning.

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

Here's an article about Vitamin C absorption that's interesting.

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that is necessary for normal growth and development. Vitamin C is required for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body. It is necessary to form collagen, an important protein used to make skin, scar tissue, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels.
