Windows Product Activation Problems?

I've got an MSDN account (had it for a while, prior to the big sale a few months ago if thats relevant) and I used it to install my copy of Windows 7.

It told me on bootup that my copy isn't legit but when I check my product activation utility it tells me it is.

Anyone else know about this? Happen to anyone else? Any ideas?

Did you install it more than once? MSDN is a one time use key only. I used a 32 bit version at first but then sold my laptop and used the 64bit with the same key but it says it was used and wouldn't let me validate it. I had to call in and do it manually and read out the string of numbers and they sent me a string of new activation code to get it validated. Just tell them you reformatted your computer and need it activated again.

if you reformat your computer, the same activation code should have worked. i think you're supposed to tell them your motherboard died and you needed to reinstall windows.
